This year’s Preview Gala will take place on April 3rd at the Colorado Convention Center.
More than 1,000 dealership owners, regional executives, general managers, sales managers, finance directors, service managers and allied suppliers attend this annual fundraising event benefiting CADA’s Clear the Air Foundation and The Denver Post Community Foundation.
The 2019 Denver Auto Show Preview Gala provides a private first glimpse of the Denver Auto Show, the largest consumer show of its kind between Chicago and Los Angeles. The private Preview Gala is held on the floor of the show showcasing 400,000 square feet of floor space filled with the eye candy and technological innovation of the latest car and truck models.
A Great Partnership for a Great Cause
For most of the past century, the Colorado Automobile Dealers Association (CADA) has strived to be the industry champion for the automotive dealers operating in Colorado. A 501(c) (6) membership organization, CADA represents 260 dealers statewide and is charged to be the advocate for new car and truck franchised dealerships, provide specialized expertise, training and communications.
The annual Denver Auto Show Preview Gala generates significant contributions to two integral beneficiaries:
Clear the Air Foundation was created in 2007 with the assistance of CADA and its members. The goal of the Clear the Air Foundation is to help Colorado citizens who suffer from asthma or other environment-related breathing disorders by improving the air in which we breathe. Additionally, they provide scholarships to students who want to further their education in the automotive or technology fields.
Each year, CADA has agreed to donate “gross emitting” vehicles that have been traded in from consumers, which will make a measurable difference in the quality of Colorado’s air.
The Denver Post Community Foundation works to enrich and improve the quality of life for individuals in the community through support of content rich programming benefiting children and youth, the arts and culture, education and literacy and the provision of basic human services. The Denver Post Community Foundation serves hundreds of metro-Denver nonprofit organizations, programs and events through grants, corporate contributions, volunteer efforts and in-kind advertising to support their efforts in the community.
