Munich in the Mountains

From September 8-10, amid the golden aspens, Breckenridge’s Main Street transforms into a “Mini Munich” for the 21st Annual Oktoberfest Celebration, bringing more than 40,000 people to enjoy three days of German cuisine, beer, polka tunes and family entertainment to historic, scenic downtown Breckenridge. Breck Oktoberfest 1

Breckenridge celebrates this fabulous tradition with food, alcoholic and non- alcoholic beverages, kids’ entertainment areas with games, rides and activities, live music from the main stage, authentic German dancers and much more. Summit County locals, as well as visitors travel from around the country, the Front Range and especially the Metro Denver area to experience the premier fall event of the Rocky Mountain High Country against the backdrop of historic Breckenridge, exploding with breathtaking autumn colors of the Ten Mile Range.
